About this tour
Kadayawan Festival, held every third week of August in Davao City, is one of the Philippines' most spectacular street festivals — a celebration of the harvest, the indigenous tribes of Mindanao and the city's abundance of tropical flowers and fruits. The Indak Indak sa Kadalanan (street dancing) and Pamulak sa Kadayawan (floral parade) are the highlights — floats covered in orchids, pomelos, durian and vegetables, with dancers in 18 different tribal costumes.
