🛡️ Our Commitment to Safe Travel

PANA.PH is a Philippine-based travel platform dedicated to connecting travelers with legitimate, verified tour operators, hotels and local stays across the 7,641 islands of the Philippines. We operate under strict standards aligned with the Department of Tourism (DOT) of the Republic of the Philippines.

✅ How we protect every traveler
✓ All partners must provide valid DOT, DTI or SEC accreditation before listing
✓ Every listing is manually reviewed by our team before going live
✓ Payments for local stays go through Xendit — a BSP-regulated payment provider
✓ Suspicious activity triggers automatic alerts to our compliance team
✓ Confirmed fraud is reported to DOT and the NBI Cybercrime Division
✓ Real guest reviews are published unedited after moderation for spam only

🚨 Anti-Scam Policy & Automatic Reporting

Tourism scams damage the Philippines' reputation and harm real travelers. We have a zero-tolerance policy and an automated reporting system.

What happens when a scam is detected

⚠️ Automatic actions on confirmed fraud
  • The partner's listing is immediately suspended pending investigation
  • A formal report is filed with the DOT Regional Office within 24 hours
  • The case is referred to the NBI Cybercrime Division for criminal investigation
  • The partner's DTI/SEC registration number is flagged in our system
  • Affected travelers are notified and assisted with refund claims

What counts as a reportable offense

  • Misrepresentation of a property, tour, or service (photos, amenities, inclusions)
  • Collecting payment and failing to deliver the booked service
  • Operating without valid DOT, DTI or SEC accreditation
  • Price manipulation or hidden fees not disclosed at booking
  • Identity fraud or impersonation of a legitimate business
  • Fake reviews submitted by operators about their own listings

How to report a problem

If you experienced a problem with a partner or listing on PANA.PH, contact us immediately. You can also report directly to:

  • DOT Tourist Assistance Hotline: +63 2 8525-2000 or action@tourism.gov.ph
  • NBI Cybercrime Division: nbi.gov.ph
  • DTI Consumer Complaints: 1-DTI (1-384) or dti.gov.ph
  • PANA.PH fraud team: fraud@pana.ph — we respond within 4 hours

Our reporting obligation

PANA.PH is legally obligated under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) and the E-Commerce Act (RA 8792) to report confirmed fraudulent activity to the relevant government agencies. We take this obligation seriously and cooperate fully with law enforcement.

📋 Partner Standards & Accreditation

Every business that lists on PANA.PH must meet our partner standards before their listing is approved.

Required documentation

  • Tour operators: DOT Accreditation Certificate + DTI or SEC registration
  • Hotels & resorts: DOT Accreditation Certificate + Mayor's Permit
  • Stay hosts: DTI or SEC registration + valid government-issued ID

Ongoing compliance

Partners must keep their accreditation current. Expired accreditation results in automatic listing suspension until renewal is confirmed. We conduct random verification checks and take action on any guest complaints within 24 hours.

Partner responsibilities

  • Listings must accurately represent the property, tour or service — no misleading photos or descriptions
  • All inclusions, exclusions and cancellation terms must be clearly stated
  • Partners must honor all confirmed bookings or arrange equivalent alternatives
  • Guest reviews must be accepted without retaliation against the reviewer
  • Partners consent to PANA.PH reporting any suspected fraud or non-compliance to authorities

📄 Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

PANA.PH ("we", "us", "the platform") is a travel marketplace operated in the Philippines. By using the platform you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of the platform

PANA.PH is a marketplace that connects travelers with verified tour operators, hotels and stay hosts. For affiliate bookings (hotels, tours via Klook, Agoda, GetYourGuide, etc.) the partner is the merchant of record and their terms apply. For local stays booked directly, the booking contract is between you and the host, with PANA.PH acting as payment intermediary.

2. Bookings & payments

For local stays, payment is processed securely via Xendit (BSP-licensed). Your card details are never stored on PANA.PH servers. For affiliate bookings you are redirected to the partner's secure checkout. Cancellation and refund terms are set by each partner and displayed before you confirm.

3. Pricing

Prices are shown in PHP (Philippine Peso) or the currency indicated. Prices may change without notice. The price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay — no hidden fees added by PANA.PH.

4. User conduct

You agree not to submit false reviews, attempt to defraud partners or fellow travelers, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Violations result in permanent account suspension and may be reported to authorities.

5. Intellectual property

All content on PANA.PH (text, photos, guides) is owned by PANA.PH or licensed from partners. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided in good faith. PANA.PH is not liable for losses arising from partner service failures, travel disruptions, force majeure events, or inaccuracies in third-party data. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid to PANA.PH directly (not to affiliate partners).

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
