About this tour
Davao City in Mindanao is the Philippines' third-largest city and one of its safest — a well-organized, clean city with excellent food, friendly people and one of the world's great wildlife encounters: the Philippine Eagle Center.
The Philippine Eagle is the national bird and one of the world's largest and most endangered eagles — with a wingspan of 2 meters and a face that looks uncannily like a lion. The Center rehabilitates and breeds them. You can see up to 8 eagles at close range. The city tour also covers the Crocodile Park (saltwater crocodiles and wildlife), the Davao Museum and the famous night markets for durian, the pungent king of tropical fruits that Davao is known for across Southeast Asia.
