Mambajao is Camiguin's main town and effective base for island activities -- guesthouses, restaurants, the market, the only ATM on the island and the rental scooter shops are here. It's a 20-minute scooter ride from both White Island and the Ardent hot springs. Everything else on the island is within 45 minutes by road.

Fly MNL-CGY (CDO) then bus or van to the coast.
Best time to visit
February to May — dry season; Camiguin year-round diving.
