October is a shoulder month here - Palawan is more sheltered than the east coast, so it's not crazy, but expect afternoon downpours and the occasional day where the coast guard suspends island-hopping tours for safety. Standard Tour A still runs most days (roughly ₱1,400-2,200pp all-in with lunch and the env/lagoon fees). Bring a dry bag, keep your itinerary loose, and don't book a tight Coron ferry connection - the El Nido-Coron crossing gets cancelled when it's rough.

We did El Nido in late October and got 3 good days out of 5. Mornings were usually fine, rain came after lunch. Honestly still gorgeous and way fewer crowds than peak. Just pad an extra buffer day before any flight out of Puerto Princesa or Coron.
