Tipping is appreciated but not obligatory. Many restaurants already add a 10% service charge - check the bill before adding more. Rounding up or PHP 20-50 for a friendly waiter is fine. For a full-day private driver or island-hopping boat crew, 200-500 is generous and very welcome. Spa/massage: 50-100. No need to tip trike or jeepney drivers.
