Absolutely. Cloud 9 is world-class for surfers, but non-surfers love the island hopping (Naked, Daku, Guyam), Sugba Lagoon, Magpupungko rock pools, Maasin palm river and the chilled cafe scene. Rent a scooter (~₱400/day) and explore. Many people come for a week and stay a month.

Did a 3-day surf lesson as a total beginner and it was the highlight of my trip. The mellow breaks are great for learning.
