Boracay Activity Prices, Indexed: What 49 Bookable Things To Do Actually Cost

For travellers planning what to actually book on Boracay, and what to skip. Prices are PHP per person from our own bookable inventory. Last checked 8 August 2026.

The usual caveats. These are bookable rates carrying operator margin, so beach-front cash prices can run lower, particularly for water sports sold from the sand. Figures move with season - Boracay has a pronounced amihan and habagat split. And they exclude the separately collected environmental fee and terminal fees at Caticlan, which are paid locally.

Boracay is the only place where the median equals the entry price

In our other destination indexes the median sits well above the cheapest tier - Moalboal PHP 3,200, El Nido PHP 2,500, Coron PHP 3,500. Boracay's median is PHP 1,850, identical to its 25th percentile, because 16 of 49 products price at exactly that number.

That compression tells you the market is mature and competitive. On an island this developed, the standard full-day product has been commoditised, and operators differentiate on boat quality and inclusions rather than headline price. It also means that paying above PHP 1,850 for a standard shared island-hopping day is paying a margin, not buying a better boat.

The cheap end is real, and it is where the island is unusual

Seven products come in under PHP 1,000, which does not happen anywhere else in our inventory at this density. A fire-dancing show at Red Coconut Beach is PHP 185. A budget beach day is PHP 400. Helmet diving starts at PHP 800, and the land tour to Willy's Rock and the Keyhole is PHP 830.

This is the practical answer to the most common Boracay question. You do not need to book a full-day tour to have a full day. White Beach itself is free, the land tour is under a thousand pesos, and the sunset paraw sail at PHP 1,500 is the single most photographed thing on the island. A traveller on a tight budget can have three good days here for less than one private island-hopping charter.

Boracay has the most varied duration profile of any destination we index: 30 minutes, one hour, two, three, four, six, eight hours, plus multi-day. Everywhere else is essentially uniform full days.

That variety hides the real cost story. Parasailing is PHP 1,500 for a 30-minute slot - which is a higher hourly rate than a full-day island-hopping tour at PHP 1,850. Helmet diving at PHP 800 to 940 runs one to two hours. Neither is bad value, but they are priced as attractions rather than as days out, and stacking three of them costs more than a boat day while filling less of the calendar.

Where the top of the range actually goes

Five products sit between PHP 8,000 and 72,540, and none of them is a day trip. A honeymoon package runs four days at PHP 8,000. A luxury beach villa experience is two days at PHP 20,000. The PHP 72,540 top entry is a nine-day Boracay, Cebu and Coron circuit - it appears in this index only because Boracay is one of its stops.

Read those as accommodation and itinerary bundles rather than as expensive activities. The most costly genuine single-day product is a private island-hopping tour with lunch at PHP 6,500, in line with the private tier we see in El Nido and Coron.

What most guides get wrong about Boracay

The standard claim is that Boracay is the expensive, commercialised island and that budget travellers should go elsewhere. Our own data contradicts the first half. Boracay has both the lowest entry price and the lowest median of any major destination we index - PHP 185 and PHP 1,850 respectively, against a Coron median nearly twice that.

The confusion comes from conflating activity prices with accommodation and food, where Boracay genuinely is dearer than a provincial town. But the things to do are cheaper here, not more expensive, precisely because competition is fierce and the island is compact enough that most attractions need no transport.

The second error is repeating pre-2018 warnings about crowding and water quality without noting what changed. The island was closed for six months for rehabilitation, and the rules that came out of it - construction setbacks from the beach, a ban on beachfront parties and single-use plastics, capacity management - are still in force. Any guide describing Boracay's beach scene without mentioning the rehabilitation framework is describing an island that no longer exists.
