Surigao City, across the strait from Siargao on the Mindanao mainland, is the transport hub for the region. Fast ferries to Dapa (Siargao) depart from here regularly (30-45 min). Fly into Francisco Bangoy International or Butuan Airport and connect by bus. The city has decent supermarkets and ATMs -- stock up before heading to the island.

Fly MNL-CGY (CDO) then bus or van to the coast.
Best time to visit
February to May — dry season; Camiguin year-round diving.
