Jordan is the main municipal hub of Guimaras island, where fast ferries from Iloilo City (15 min) dock. Most travellers use it as the starting point for renting a motorbike to explore the mango farms, beaches and lighthouse of the island. The iconic Jordan church and heritage houses are within walking distance of the pier.

Fly MNL-LGP (Legazpi) or overnight bus/train from Manila.
Best time to visit
March to May — whale shark season; November to April for hiking.
