Cresta de Gallo in Romblon province is an uninhabited sandbar island with no electricity, no fresh water and no permanent residents -- just blinding white sand, turquoise shallows and complete isolation. Reached by 2-hour boat from Sibuyan Island or from Odiongan, Tablas Island. Camping overnight is possible with your own supplies.
Getting there
Ferry from Batangas Port or fly to Puerto Princesa then bus/van.
Best time to visit
November to May — dry season with calm seas for island hopping.
