Travel you can plan with confidence
Pana.ph is a Philippine-only marketplace — every host and operator lists on their own name, every review comes from a real account, and every policy is written in plain language. Here is exactly how the trust layer works.
How partners are verified
Stay hosts and tour operators register as named accounts and publish offers under their own identity — every listing links to a public operator profile showing who runs it, how long they have been a member and how travellers rate them.
- Named accounts only — partners publish under a verified account, never anonymously.
- Verified-partner badge — staff review partners and mark established ones with a verified flag on their public profile and offer pages.
- Suspension controls — accounts that breach marketplace rules are suspended; their sessions end and their offers leave the catalog.
- Report an issue — every offer and review carries a report link straight to the staff queue, which resolves or dismisses each flag with a written resolution.
Where reviews come from
Reviews are written by signed-in travellers — one review per account per offer — and a Verified booking mark appears when the reviewer holds a confirmed booking on that offer. Ratings blend into the score you see on every card.
Real accounts
Only registered travellers can post reviews — one per offer, editable later by its author.
Verified stays
A confirmed booking marks the review as verified, so first-hand experience stands out.
Moderated, not deleted
Hidden reviews leave every public list and the rating blend — flagging never quietly rewrites history.
Refunds and cancellation mechanics
Each offer carries an explicit cancellation tier — flexible, moderate or strict — shown on the offer page before you enquire. The deadline for a free cancellation is computed from your travel dates and displayed on the page, so there are no surprises after you commit.
- Flexible — free cancellation up to the stated window before travel.
- Moderate — partial refund inside a shorter window.
- Strict — limited refunds close to the travel date; the exact terms are on the offer.
- Sold-out dates — you cannot book into a sold-out range; the waitlist emails you if a date reopens.
Travel insurance guidance
Pana.ph does not sell insurance, but we recommend cover for every booking — domestic trips included. Ferry schedules, island weather and activity days are exactly the moments a small policy earns its keep.
Medical & evacuation
Island destinations mean limited clinics nearby — cover that includes medical evacuation is worth the few hundred pesos.
Delays & cancellations
Ferries and island flights move with the weather; delay cover turns a disruption into an inconvenience, not a loss.
Activity cover
Surfing, canyoneering and wreck snorkels may need an activity rider — check the policy wording before you go.
We flag it everywhere
Every offer page carries an insurance reminder under the cancellation policy so the recommendation travels with the trip.
