Cebu Whale Shark Family Tour (Oslob)

Oslob in southern Cebu offers one of the world's most accessible encounters with whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) — the gentle giants of the ocean that can reach 12 metres in length but pose zero threat to humans. Fishermen-turned-guides encourage resident whale sharks to feed near shore each morning, and participants enter the water on snorkeling boards and life vests to observe them at arm's length.

This full-day family tour departs from Cebu City in the early morning (whale shark interaction is best before 10 AM, after which crowds build and sharks dive deeper). Children as young as 4 can participate with life vests and a guide holding their board.
