Bohol Chocolate Hills ATV + Tarsier Family Package

Bohol's two most iconic attractions — the Chocolate Hills and the Philippine tarsier — make a natural pairing for a family day, and this package delivers both with extra energy via ATV. The Chocolate Hills are 1,268 perfectly conical limestone mounds spreading across Carmen municipality; from the viewing platform they look like giant chocolate bonbons, especially in the dry-season brown. The ATV route winds through the hills at ground level, giving a completely different and more thrilling perspective than the viewing platform alone.

Children aged 8 and above can ride solo on smaller ATVs (with a guide alongside); younger children ride tandem with a parent. The trail passes through rice fields, forest patches and the flanks of the hills themselves — 45 minutes of dusty, joyful terrain running that teenagers and parents enjoy equally. After the ATV session, the tour continues to the Tarsier Conservation Area in Corella.

The Philippine tarsier is the world's second-smallest primate — a nocturnal, enormous-eyed creature the size of a fist that clings to thin branches and rotates its head 180 degrees. The conservation area is run by an NGO dedicated to protecting the tarsier's remaining forest habitat, and the guided visit is conducted in near-silence to avoid stressing the animals. It is a genuinely moving wildlife encounter for children: creatures this small and this perfectly formed create real wonder.
