Coron is a wreck-diving paradise. We dived the Irako and the Akitsushima — eerie, enormous and covered in coral.

Above water, Kayangan Lake is the clearest water I have ever seen, and Twin Lagoon at high tide is surreal. Five days was just enough to dive and still squeeze in a full day of island hopping to the hidden beaches.
