Lake Sebu Zipline — Seven Falls Adventure
About this tour
The Seven Falls zipline at Lake Sebu is the Philippines' most scenically spectacular zipline experience — not because it is the longest or fastest, but because of what lies beneath: a series of seven interconnected waterfalls dropping through a gorge of primary rainforest, the mist rising in columns above the cascades, the sound building to a roar that you feel in your chest from the zipline platform 80 metres above.
The three-segment zipline covers 740 metres in total, beginning at a platform above the first falls and ending at a rest area above the fourth. Each segment offers a different perspective on the falls system — the first crosses directly over the widest cascade, where the spray can reach the rider in wet conditions; the second follows a forest ridge with Lake Sebu visible in the distance; the third descends steeply toward the gorge floor with the full fall system spread below. Between segments, platforms allow you to stop, photograph, and watch the water thunder through the forest below.
After the zipline, the trail leads down to the base of the main falls — a powerful curtain of water dropping 15 metres into a natural pool where the brave can wade into the spray. The surrounding forest is home to fireflies (spectacular on guided evening visits) and several endemic bird species including the Mindanao bleeding-heart pigeon. Lake Sebu is a compact destination where the zipline, the T'boli cultural immersion, and the lake itself can all be experienced in a single well-planned day — making it one of the most rewarding excursions from General Santos or Koronadal.
