There is no more spectacular wedding venue in the Philippines than the clifftops above Bacuit Bay — limestone pinnacles dropping directly into turquoise water, the karst archipelago extending to the horizon in every direction, and a sky that performs its most extraordinary sunset displays precisely in this part of Palawan. A clifftop wedding in El Nido is not merely a beautiful setting; it is one of the world's great outdoor ceremony venues, full stop.

The ceremony takes place on a private clifftop platform accessible by a short trail from the nearest resort — the operator manages all permits and preparations. The floral altar is positioned at the cliff edge, framing the karst panorama behind the couple: a custom-designed arch of tropical flowers (orchids, heliconia, anthurium, palm fronds) with the bay 80 metres below and islands stretching to the horizon. Seating is maximally 30 guests on white garden chairs facing the altar and the view.

After the ceremony, guests board private bangkas for transfer to a deserted island for the celebration dinner — long tables set on the beach, lanterns and tiki torches, a live acoustic musician, a seafood and Filipino feast served by a dedicated catering crew. The location is entirely private; no other boats, no other parties. The island is cleared and set before guest arrival, and the crew remains available throughout without intruding. An underwater photographer is included for snorkelling exploration after dinner — a memorable conclusion as the stars appear above the South China Sea.
