Coron Siete Pecados Marine Park Snorkelling
About this tour
Just 15 minutes by boat from Coron town lies one of the Philippines' most celebrated snorkelling sites: Siete Pecados Marine Park, named for the seven small limestone islets rising from the sea like the seven deadly sins. Between and around these islets runs a continuous coral reef in exceptional condition โ the result of decades of no-take marine protection and the unique upwelling of cool, nutrient-rich water from Coron Bay.
The reef here is a technicolour chaos of life: staghorn coral forests sheltering schools of blue-and-yellow fusiliers, brain corals the size of dining tables hosting cleaner shrimps, and sea fans the colour of fire spreading across the reef wall. Sea turtles are frequently spotted resting on the coral or surfacing for air โ the bay supports a breeding population of green turtles. Napoleon wrasse (the largest reef fish in the Philippines, reaching 2 metres in length) patrol the deeper sections and are comfortable approaching snorkellers.
This half-day tour is one of the best value activities in Coron โ perfect as a morning tour before the Kayangan Lake afternoon, or as a standalone experience for non-divers who want to witness Coron's extraordinary underwater world. No experience required; floatation belts available for beginners.

About the area
