Coron Hot Spring & Kayangan Lake Combo

Coron is uniquely positioned on a geothermal belt, and Maquinit Hot Springs is the only saltwater hot spring in the Philippines — a series of natural rock pools fed by volcanic heat, where the temperature hovers between 39-40°C. Soaking here at dawn, surrounded by mangroves with hornbills calling overhead, is one of the most relaxing experiences in the Philippines. The saltwater is believed to have healing properties, and the springs have been used by local Tagbanua communities for generations.

After the hot springs (and a freshwater rinse), the boat crosses to Coron Island for the afternoon's centrepiece: Kayangan Lake, voted Asia's cleanest. The thermal soak in the morning makes the cool, clear lake water in the afternoon feel extraordinary — the contrast between the volcano-heated salt pool and the pristine freshwater lake is something your body will remember for years.

The combo tour finishes at Twin Lagoon as the afternoon light turns the inner lagoon's water a luminous green-gold before the boat returns to Coron town for sunset. It's a beautifully paced day covering three of Coron's top experiences without feeling rushed.
