About this tour

The Boracay sunset paraw sailing experience is one of those rare travel moments that exceeds every expectation. As the afternoon heat softens and the sky begins its nightly spectacle, your traditional double-outrigger paraw sailboat catches the sea breeze and slips silently away from Station 2. The view of White Beach from the water — a curve of powdery white sand backed by waving palms and pastel resort buildings — is breathtaking from any angle, but from the deck of a paraw it becomes something out of a dream.

The paraw is a traditional Filipino sail craft that has worked these waters for centuries, and sailing on one feels authentically connected to the archipelago's seafaring heritage. Your crew consists of two experienced sailors who manage the rigging and helm while you recline on the netting strung between the outrigger arms — the preferred position for sunset photos. The boat ventures out past the sandbar, rides north along the beach, and positions perfectly for the golden hour. Cold drinks are available on board.

This tour is especially popular for couples celebrating anniversaries, honeymooners, and anyone who simply needs an hour where phones go quiet and the world shrinks to the size of a sail and a sunset. Book the 5:00–5:30 PM slot in peak season (November–April) for the best sky colour. The paraw cruise is, without question, the single most photographed activity in Boracay — but it earns that reputation completely.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cruise private or shared?
The standard booking is shared — you will join other guests on the paraw (maximum 8 pax). Private charters are available at a higher rate — select the private option when booking.
What if it rains or the sunset is obscured by clouds?
Light rain does not typically cancel the cruise. The captain assesses conditions before departure. Cloud cover can still produce spectacular sky colours — some of the best paraw photos happen on partly cloudy evenings.
Where does the cruise depart from?
Departure is from the beach in front of Station 2, Boracay. Your guide will confirm the exact meeting point at the beach on the day.
