Boracay Couples Snorkeling & Private Beach Picnic

Boracay's underwater world is as beautiful as its beaches — and far less visited. The reef systems at Crocodile Island and Laurel Island (a 15-minute bangka ride from White Beach) host lionfish, nudibranchs, sea turtles, and large schools of snapper and batfish in healthy coral that sees a fraction of White Beach's daily visitors. A private snorkelling trip for two with a dedicated marine guide is one of the most underrated Boracay experiences.

Departure is from the beach at 9:00 AM, when the water clarity is at its best and the reef is in morning light. The bangka visits two reef sites — the first a shallow coral garden (3-5 metres) ideal for leisurely observation; the second a deeper wall (8-12 metres) where the guide free-dives ahead to identify marine life and signal locations to the surface snorkellers. The guide carries an underwater marker flag and communication slate, keeping the couple together and pointing out highlights that most snorkellers miss entirely.

After the reef tour, the bangka returns to a pre-arranged beach picnic — set up while you were on the water by the operator's team on a quieter section of White Beach south of Station 3. A woven mat, large parasol, proper cushions, and a wicker basket: fresh sandwiches (tuna, chicken, vegetarian), local cheeses, grapes, fresh mango, and a bottle of chilled local white wine (Bohol Winery coconut wine or imported sauvignon blanc). The picnic is yours for as long as you want the afternoon stretch of beach.
